Integrating Mindfulness and Psychotherapy
My psychotherapy and mindfulness services combine experience and evidence-based techniques to support healing, growth, and emotional wellness. In couples therapy, when learning healthy communication skills, I bring mindfulness into the session - helping clients pause before reacting, taking the time to find wise and loving speech. In individual therapy, mindfulness is used, along with other modalities to recognize thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations - enabling deep growth and greater awareness.

Psychotherapy and Counseling
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches to support clients facing mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, and more. Sessions are structured, confidential, and rooted in a deep respect for each client's lived experience.
Mindfulness Classes and Trainings
I offer formal mindfulness programs including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Relational Mindfulness courses, and individualized coaching. These practices help reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and support self-awareness.
Support for Teens and Families
I work with adolescents and their caregivers navigating emotional or behavioral concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, school challenges, peer issues, and trauma. Sessions include skill-building, emotional support, and family involvement when appropriate.
Mindfulness-Based Couples Counseling
For committed couples ready to engage in deeper relational work, I offer a mindfulness-based process that incorporates MBSR and relational practice. This approach helps partners develop presence, communication skills, and a more compassionate understanding of each other.
Professional and Organizational Training
I provide mindfulness training and workshops tailored for workplace teams, educators, and healthcare providers. Past offerings include custom MBSR programs and group relational practice for companies and institutions. In particular I am the trainer for the mindfulness program at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI), one of San Diego County's largest employers.
Retreats and Community Practice
As the guiding teacher of Black Mountain Sangha, I support this vibrant mindfulness practice community in deepening their mindfulness practice. I also guide and teach two transformative silent residential mindfulness retreats a year.
